Shifts
Driver shifts and hours, from their own phones
Who drove which truck, when they started, where they finished and how far they went — recorded by the driver in about twenty seconds, with nothing to install.
$10 per truck or trailer a month after the free period. Unlimited drivers at no extra charge.
The paper run sheet, minus the paper
Most small operators work it out afterwards: a text message, a run sheet in the cab, a guess at the odometer. Then payroll comes around and somebody reconstructs the week from memory.
Fleezo records it as it happens, by the person who was there.
What the driver does
Opens a link and signs in
Their own mobile number and a four-digit PIN. No app store, no download, no company phone. It works on whatever phone they already have.
Picks the truck, trailer and client
Then does a seven-point pre-trip check and enters the odometer. Every shift is recorded against the client it was run for.
Taps finish at the end
Odometer again, and that's the shift. Start and finish are time-stamped, with the phone's location captured at each end.
What you get out of it
- ✓Hours per driver, ready for payroll. Totalled by week, and an overnight shift belongs to the day it started — not split across two.
- ✓Kilometres per truck. The odometer readings feed straight into servicing, so a service falls due on real distance rather than a guess.
- ✓Hours and kilometres per client. There when you invoice, and exportable as a spreadsheet.
- ✓Forgotten shifts closed for you. If a driver knocks off without tapping finish, Fleezo closes it and flags the kilometres so an admin can correct them later.
- ✓Who's out right now. The admin screen shows which drivers are on shift and in which truck.
What it isn't
- ✕Not live tracking. Location is captured at the start and at the end of a shift, and never in between. Nothing watches a driver all day, and there's no box in the truck.
- ✕Not an electronic work diary. Fleezo isn't NHVR-approved for fatigue records and doesn't replace one.
- ✕Not another thing for drivers to learn. Two taps at each end of the day. If a driver can send a text, they can do this.
Before your site goes live we ask you to confirm you've told your drivers what's recorded — workplace surveillance law requires it, and it's the right way to introduce this to a crew.
Questions
What if a driver loses their phone, or changes number?
An admin updates the number and they're back in. There's nothing tied to a particular handset.
Can a driver see the costs or other drivers' hours?
No. A driver sees only their own shift screen. Costs, reports and other drivers are admin-only.
Does it work out of range?
It needs a connection to record the shift. In a patchy spot the driver can record it when signal returns, or an admin can correct the shift afterwards.
What does it cost?
$10 per asset per month — trucks and trailers. Drivers are unlimited and free. First three months free.
Where is my data kept?
In Australia, on servers in Sydney, with a separate database for every operator. See our privacy policy.
